Killing players

  • Killing a player who is not a killer makes you one. Your name turns orange, then red as the kills add up; at the top level you are an outlaw and cannot teleport.
  • Each 30 minutes online takes a step back toward a commoner. Every monster you kill adds 60 seconds, so hunting shortens it.
  • /pkclear clears it at once for 500,000,000 zen.
  • A player killer cannot enter Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle or Illusion Temple, nor can their party.
  • Killing a member of the other Gens family carries no PK penalty in Vulcanus. Gens.

Where PvP is off

  • Towns and other safe zones.
  • Devil Square and Blood Castle: no player can hit another, whatever their state.
  • Channels marked Non-PvP on the server status.

Duels

Challenge a player to a duel from the right-click menu. A blow that would kill scores a point instead, with no death and no PK change; the first to five points wins.
